四、fare (n.) 指旅客乘公共汽車(chē)、出租車(chē)、火車(chē)、輪船、飛機(jī)等所支付的費(fèi)用。如：

　　1、a uniform fare of one yuan for any distance

　　不論遠(yuǎn)近一律一元的車(chē)票

　　2、All fares, please. （公共汽車(chē)售票員用語(yǔ)）請(qǐng)買(mǎi)票。

　　3、Mary and I took a taxi to home from the party and split the fare. 瑪麗和我一起從晚會(huì)上乘出租車(chē)回家，車(chē)費(fèi)平攤。

　　4、What's the train fare to Beijing?

　　到北京的火車(chē)票價(jià)是多少？

　　五、fee (n.) 醫(yī)生、律師或其它專(zhuān)門(mén)職業(yè)的傭金及會(huì)費(fèi)、手續(xù)費(fèi)、停車(chē)費(fèi)等。如：

　　1、 The doctor charged me a fee. 醫(yī)生向我收了診療費(fèi)。

　　2、 My lawyer's hourly fee is 130 dollars.

　　我的律師的傭金是每小時(shí)130美元。

　　3、 The remitting bank will charge their clients a small fee for this service. 匯款銀行在這項(xiàng)服務(wù)上向客戶收取少量的手續(xù)費(fèi)。

　　4、 John paid the parking fees. 約翰付了停車(chē)費(fèi)。

　　5、 The membership fee of the swimming club is 200 dollars a year. 這個(gè)游泳俱樂(lè)部的會(huì)費(fèi)是每年200美元。

　　六、freight (n.) 運(yùn)費(fèi)，指海運(yùn)、空運(yùn)、陸運(yùn)的費(fèi)用。如：

　　1 、Who will pay the freight on this order?

　　誰(shuí)支付這批定貨的運(yùn)費(fèi)？

　　2、What is the freight on the last shipment of grain?

　　上批谷物的輪船運(yùn)費(fèi)是多少？

　　3、The freight must be added to the cost of the goods, that's why the prices are higher.

　　運(yùn)費(fèi)必須加到貨物的價(jià)格里面，這就是為什么這些貨物價(jià)格比較高的原因。

　　七、postage (n . ) 指 郵費(fèi)。如：

　　1、How much postage do I need to send this package?

　　寄這個(gè)包裹須付多少錢(qián)？

　　2、I’ll ask at the post office what the postage is on a letter to the United States.

　　我去郵局問(wèn)一下，寄往美國(guó)的信要多少郵費(fèi)。
